Audi's piloted driving in traffic jams will in future reduce the driver's workload in stressful situations, such as in congested traffic. At speeds between zero and 60 km/h (37.28 mph), the system helps to steer the car within certain constraints. It also accelerates and brakes autonomously.

Parting Moon Shots from NASA's GRAIL mission
NASA’s Gravity Recovery And Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) probes recently crashed into the moon at the end of their mission. But before their untimely death in the side of a mountain, NASA had them turn on their cameras as they zoomed over the ground of the moon.
The result is a pretty awe-inspiring view of the surface of the moon. We’d recommend turning on the HD and making this full screen, and then taking a little tour of our neighbor in the sky. And when you’re done, check out other amazing NASA visuals of the Earth at night, and a beautiful video of humanity’s impact on Earth.

Audi's piloted parking technology showcased
Smart technology is penetrating its way to automobiles we use in our daily lives very fast, be it the Google Smart Car, the upcoming Mercedes Benz with tech-assisted driving or the new Renault R-Link.
To add one more achievement to the list here is another interesting development from car manufacturer Audi, - an automated Valet parking using your smartphone. Just watch the video to see how you would be able to use your smartphones in near future to make your car automatically park itself when you get out of it at the main gate of an Hotel or shopping mall, and simply use your smartphone again to call it back at the main-gate when you are done with your work there.

Effective December 13, Adobe disabled the activation server for CS2 products and Acrobat 7 because of a technical glitch. These products were released over 7 years ago and do not run on many modern operating systems. But to ensure that any customers activating those old versions can continue to use their software, we issued a serial number directly to those customers. While this might be interpreted as Adobe giving away software for free, we did it to help our customers.from itworld.com

What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See Adobe forums.

3D Printed Record
In order to explore the current limits of 3D printing technology, I've created a technique for converting digital audio files into 3D-printable, 33rpm records and printed a few functional prototypes that play on ordinary record players. Though the audio quality is low -the records have a sampling rate of 11kHz (a quarter of typical mp3 audio) and 5-6 bit resolution (less than one thousandth of typical 16 bit resolution)- the songs are still easily recognizable, watch the video above to hear what the records sound like.3D Printed Record at instructables by amandaghassaei

The song "Happy Birthday To You" is the most recognizable song in the English language, but it can cost independent filmmakers an estimated $10,000 to clear the song for their films, and it will remain under copyright protection in the United States until 2030. This is a major stumbling block hindering the creation of new works of art. It's time to shake (or at least unsettle) “Happy Birthday” from it’s fortified cultural throne, and replace it with a melody that the children can sing without fear of being served.
